Memory, Art, and Decentralization
Memory is both personal and collective, shaped by individual experiences and shared cultural narratives. Art transforms private recollections into something larger, weaving them into a communal story. This mirrors the decentralized nature of Web3, where creativity and ownership are distributed rather than controlled by a single entity. Just as memory evolves through interpretation, an artwork’s meaning shifts based on the viewer’s perspective, making it a living, ever-changing entity.
"A decentralized archive of human experiences
Fragments is a three-part video art project exploring this fluid nature of memory. Divided into Origin, Balance, and Culmination, each chapter features six participants sharing key memories, from childhood’s first impressions to defining moments and adult reflections. Over three weeks, the artist reconstructs these recollections using 3D animation and analog glitch techniques, blending digital precision with analog distortion to mirror the way memories shift over time.
By merging individual recollections into a shared narrative, Fragments becomes a decentralized archive of human experience. It challenges how we remember, how we reinterpret the past, and how collective memory is continuously shaped by the many, not just the few.
Participate and shape the story.
The project is a three-week performance, with each chapter spanning six days. Each day, a new 20-second sequence is created, leading to a complete 2-minute chapter.
The completed 2-minute video of each chapter will be minted on Foundation.app as an open-edition NFT.
Even if you don’t become a participant, minting helps bring the project to life, and your name will appear in the credits if you are in the top 10!
Each chapter will be worked on for six consecutive days, with the artist dedicating this time fully to completing the piece.
The start of each chapter will be determined by the artist, allowing the process to unfold at its own pace. Like memories that resurface in their own time, each chapter will come to life when it’s meant to.
01_Mint the NFT(s)
Each chapter will have it's own NFT glyph posted on Rodeo.club. A minimum of 300 tokens minted is necessary to be able to participate in this performance.
02_Secure your spot
The six people who mint the most of a chapter’s NFT become participants. You can compete for one, two, or all three chapters.
03_Share your vision
Selected participants submit a key memory through a Google form or direct message, which the artist transforms into a 20-second video.

01_A Role in the Performance
As a selected participant, you become part of Fragments, shaping the artwork by sharing a key memory. Your recollection guides the artist, influencing not only your individual sequence but also the overall direction of the chapter.
02_An Artist-Interpreted artwork
Beyond the video, each participant receives a unique, single-edition artwork (still image) - a distilled visual representation of the essence of their shared memory, as seen through the artist’s eyes. This exclusive piece stands as both a personal keepsake and a work of art in its own right.
